The Barnard PTA is a quietly busy group that hosts an ambitious annual agenda and attempts to include every child, parent and teacher in a wonderful Barnard experience.
The Barnard PTA is:

Liz is originally from the West Coast but has lived in NY for the past 14 years. She majored in Recreation Administration from BYU-Utah. Her philosophy is that activities and events are what unite the community is what drives her PTA spirit. She has a very supportive husband, Evan and 3 children: Sophia, a 5th grader at Webster, Wesley a 2nd grader at Barnard and Luke entering the PreK Magnet this year. |

Jennie was raised in Larchmont, NY and attended public schools in Mamaroneck. She is a lawyer but currently a stay at home mom of 5 and lives with her husband Tom on the South Side of New Rochelle. She has 3 boys at Barnard this coming year: Tommy in 2nd Grade, Peter in 1st Grade and George in Kindergarten. |

Kathy lives in the Paine Heights section of New Rochelle with her husband Larry and 2 children, James and Erin. James will be entering Kindergarten this year and Erin is 3. She is a stay at home mom but worked as a high school guidance counselor in the Bronx. |

Shanna grew up in New Rochelle attending Davis, Albert Leonard and New Rochelle High School. She graduated from University of Michigan with a BA in Organizational Studies where she met her husband, Bruce. Shanna is the Marketing Manager for a family business in New Rochelle. This is Shanna’s 5th year at Barnard and her 2nd year as Treasurer. She has two sons: Trey, a 3rd grader at Davis and Remy in Kindergarten at Barnard. |

Sara is originally from upstate New York but has lived in New Rochelle for 8 years. She works part time for Furniture Sharehouse, an organization which provides furniture to needy families throughout Westchester County. Sara lives with her husband Dave in Larchmont Woods and has two children who attend Barnard: Jake, who is in 2nd grade and Kathleen, who is in 1st grade. |
