Hello from the Barnard BATS PBIS Team!

February is all about KINDNESS. Throughout the entire school, students are learning many different ways they can show how kind they are. Students are earning BAT tickets when they are seen performing an act of KINDNESS. “Kevin the KIND Kangaroo” signs are hanging in the hallways reminding them about being KIND. Kindness is EVERYWHERE!!!!

At home, please talk with your child about what it means to be kind and ways they can show it to family members, friends and even a random passersby.

In grades K-2, you might have noticed your child coming home with a certificate from PBIS…

CONGRATULATIONS! Your child earned the most tally’s for displaying the previous months focus. They will also be wearing a Student of the Month lanyard in school so that they are recognized by all!

In Pre-K, students are filling up a large BAT with their BAT tickets earned!!! They also have monthly musical celebrations based on the months theme!

Look here next month for more information on the monthly theme!
